Elite Properties of Maryland is selective about the homes
in their portfolio. Homes are in desirable locations. Most
are recently updated and offer architectural distinctions
and other benefits of each of the neighborhoods. Importantly,
the homes are offered at a competitive price.
Elite Properties of Maryland also carefully screens the
renters, checking references, and managing all of the interactions.
The Elite Properties of Maryland renter can range form graduate
students to professionals to families to empty nest couples
— all looking for hassle free living in dynamic
neighborhoods.
Many of the properties offer the convenience of downtown
living in established and exciting neighborhoods. Most of
the homes have been lived in by the owners, who have invested
in upgrades.
Tenant FAQ's
Q. When do I have to notify the
property manager in regards to renewing my lease?
A. Per your lease, you must give 90 days written notice prior to your lease expiring to
let us know whether or not you plan to renew your lease. If
you choose not to renew, your security deposit will be returned
to you within 45 days of your lease expiration.
Q. Are pets allowed in any of your properties?
A. Many of our properties
are animal friendly. If you have an animal, please indicate
that on your application. If you are planning on getting an
animal, please let us know before you bring the pet home.
A pet security deposit or fee may be required.
Q. When is rent due and is there a late fee?
A. Rent is due on the first
of every month. If rent is paid after the fifth of the month
a late fee of 5% of the monthly rent is assessed.
There will be a $25 charge for any check returned by the bank
for nonpayment.
Q. Who do I contact for general maintenance issues
and repairs?
A. For repairs and or maintenance,
please call our office at 410.332.0662 or send an email to
repairs@elitepropertiesofmd.com.
Please be sure to include your name, address, phone number
and a detailed description of the problem. Please call or
email when you notice something needs to be addressed. We will
get back to you within 24 hours. Only emergency maintenance issues will be addressed after normal business hours and on weekends.
Q. Incase of an emergency maintenance issue, who do I contact?
A. For a gas leak or no
electricity please call BG&E at 410.685.0123. If you have
a water leak, please shut off the main water valve to the
house or the closest valve to the leak and call the office
at 410.332.0662.
Q. What if I’m locked out of the property or lose my
keys?
A. If you call the office during normal business hours
because you are locked out of your property or to replace
your keys you will be charged a $25 fee. I it is after hours, during the weekend or on a holiday, you are to call a locksmith. You can contact Roland Park Lock & Key for assistance 410.233.4022 We will only replace
keys for people on the lease.
Q. What do I do if I have insects or rodents in my property?
A. This is not a usual
occurrence with properties, especially those in the city. However please make sure the
property is clean at all times, especially the kitchen and
this will help prevent unwanted pests. If they continue, please
call the office at 410.332.0662.
Q. How do I obtain information in regards to Baltimore City
services?
A. Please dial 311
and the operator will direct you to the service you are inquiring
about. If you are
calling from a phone that is not located in the city please dial 443-263-2220
Q. What is the rental application process and is there
a fee?
A. We check your work history, rental history
and credit score. This process usually takes 1-3 days depending
on the information provided. There is a $25 nonrefundable
rental application fee.
Q. How much do I need for a security deposit?
A. Most properties require a security deposit
of one months rent.
